How do i pay the deposit?

The deposits are taken via Fresha on booking.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

If you cancel or change an appointment I do ask that you notify me with more than 48 hours notice before your appointment.

Deposits are non refundable. But you can reschedule the appointment as long as you’ve given more than 48 hours notice.

No shows incur a 100% charge.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment I might not be able to carry out your treatment and you will be charged as a no show. I will always try to fit you in, but sometimes it’s not possible!

How do I cancel/change my appointment?

You can change your appointments using the online booking system, or you can email me: sasha.seaward@gmail.com or text me on 07984429295

Where are you?

Balanced Beauty Bristol is on Woodborough Street in Easton - just off St Marks Road. Please note I work by appointment and do not accept walk ins. I will give you my house number on booking.

Is there parking?

There is free on street parking here, you may not be able to park directly outside, but there is almost always a space at least somewhere on my road.

Can I bring my friend/child/partner to my appointment?

Balanced Beauty Bristol is a space just for people that identify as female, so please no male friends or partners. Feel free to bring female friends and partners, but I do ask that for massage or facials you come alone so that you can fully relax.

All children are welcome and as I have two small boys I have a house full of toys and am not afraid of crumbs/nappies/dribbling/screaming/pushchairs! But again, please come alone for quiet treatments.

I do appreciate if you can let me know of any extra people coming before the appointment.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Most clients now pay through the online booking system. It takes card details when you book, but only charges once you’ve had the treatment. I do also take cash.

Can I buy a treatment as present for someone?

You can! I have e-vouchers, which I can email to you, and you can forward onto the recipient, or print out if you wish. I can make the gift vouchers for specific treatments, or up to an amount of money that the recipient can spend as they wish.

I’m pregnant, can I book in for any of your treatments?

You can book in for any of my treatments, but please do let me know that you are pregnant when you book as some treatments do need to be tailored specifically. If you are being treated for complications during your pregnancy I do ask that you talk to me before booking as these could be contraindications for treatment.

What are contraindications for treatment?

A contraindication is something that prevents or restricts treatments.

Total contraindications like bacterial infections, viral infections, or fungal infections, mean that no treatment can be carried out.

Medical contraindications mean that you will need to get permission from your doctor before booking, or you may have to sign your consent before the treatment takes place. These include things like unstable blood pressure, recent scar tissue, allergies, sensitivities, pretty much anything that you are currently being treated for.

A local contraindication is when a treatment is prevented from being carried out over a particular area, this includes things like bruises, broken skin, sunburn, skin tags, skin conditions etc.

Please do get in contact with me if you’d like to talk about whether or not you have a contraindication for treatment.
